It's that time again! Everyone's least favorite yet most anticipated time of the year: Back to School Season. Whether you are jumping for joy or dreading the mere thought of having to be perceived by your peers, chances are you'll want to make your grand entrance in style. We've compiled a list of trends that will be making their way into the hearts and *classrooms* of your favorite fashion girlies.

So sit up straight and start taking notes, fashion class is in session.

A CLASSIC BUTTON DOWN

This closet staple is perfect for that "tried, but not too hard" effortlessly cool look. What better to say you think you're better than everyone than a classic white button-down.

THE SWEATER VEST

Little to our surprise, sweater vests have made a return this season. I have chosen to blame the 'Gossip Girl' reboot. From oversized with bold patterns to knitted and fitted, here are a few that won't have you looking like every other b*tch.

CHUNKY SHOES

This season, whether it’s in comfy clogs or cowboy boots, is all about making a statement in a pair of bold booties.

BERMUDA SHORTS

A classy and “dress code appropriate length” option that will have everyone asking for a fit check.

A MASK

Because you obviously care about the health and well being of others. Right?

Now grab your hot girl totes and hit the books so you can be better than everyone you hate.

See you next month for another #STRIKETRENDWATCH.
